Hosted by Houston-based Sommelier, Sully Nguyen, this wine tasting explores every glass we have to offer and will be accompanied by a charcuterie spread from Lamberto’s Italian Bistro, hand-selected for the most complimentary taste. With each wine chosen to spotlight small, independent producers, the Art of Wine Tasting communicates the love and care it took to reach your glass.

2026 Art Stars! Kids Summer Art Camp
Join us this summer for the Live Oak Art Center's 'Art Stars! 2026' Kids Summer Art Camp!!
From June 8th to July 31st, we will have a new camp every week, Monday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm; classes will be held upstairs in our Laura Ann Rau Gallery. We will provide water and snacks each day but children will also need to have a packed lunch and a drink (with a lid) every day when they come to camp.
These camps are free but there are a limited number of seats are available, so don't wait to secure your spot! If your child is unable to attend classes after registering, please let the gallery know asap. The previous rules on attendance are no longer in place.
We are so excited about camps this year and cannot wait to see what the kiddos create!

Painting Landscapes in Watercolor: A 2-Day Workshop with Award-Winning Artist Stephen Henry
Discover the beauty of watercolor landscapes in this engaging two-day workshop led by award-winning artist Stephen Henry at the Live Oak Art Center. Designed for all skill levels, this class offers a unique opportunity to explore watercolor techniques while learning to capture the essence of the outdoors.
Stephen Henry is known for his expressive landscapes and approachable teaching style. Throughout the workshop, he will guide participants through essential watercolor methods including color mixing, layering, brushwork, and creating depth and atmosphere in landscape compositions.
Students will gain hands-on experience through live demonstrations, guided exercises, and individualized instruction. Whether you’re new to watercolor or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will help you build confidence and develop your personal artistic style.

Habitat Youth Art Contest and Show
The Live Oak Art Center is proud to support Habitat for Humanity through its Youth Art Contest and Show!!
The deadline to submit your child's artwork is April 24th, 2026, and the show will be held in the Laura Ann Rau Gallery on the second floor of the Live Oak Art Center in September of 2026.
