What is Brunson Night?
Brunson Night is the Live Oak Art Center's Big Annual Fundraiser--this is where most of our funding from the community happens!! Named after the building the Live Oak Art Center is in, Brunson Night was originally at the Live Oak Art Center, but has now been moved to a larger venue to accommodate more people. The Event itself is a Big Party, with Live Music, Dancing, Catered Meals, and even more fun ways to donate like our Bucket Raffle and Wine Pull!!
What can I do at Brunson Night?
There is so much to do at Brunson Night!! With a Live Band and a Big Dance floor, you can enjoy the music and dance all night. If dancing isn't your thing, you can sit and socialize over a delicious catered meal. You can also try your luck with our wine pull, where even if it's not the top bottle, you still walk away with a whole bottle of wine!!
Why should I support it?
You should support Brunson Night to support the Live Oak Art Center!! If you found your way to this page from our Support and Membership page, you may have seen all the reasons why you should support the Live Oak Art Center; if you didn't, then, in short, you should support the Live Oak Art Center because we support our community. We appreciate all donations of any size and kind at any point in the year, but donating at Brunson Night helps us plan according for everything we'll do the following year.
If I'm busy that weekend, how else can I help?
If you're busy the day of Brunson Night, we'll be sad to miss you at the party, but there are still a lot of ways you can support us. As a non profit, we could not survive without our volunteers--this past year, our volunteers worked tireless for two months leading up to the event--so we will always appreciate any help we can get leading up to the event. If you're not available to help before Brunson Night, you should consider donating to our raffle items or becoming a sponsor, since every donation and sponsorship gets you additional perks!!
What is the Dress Code?
The Dress Code for Brunson Night is Dressy/Smart Casual--Nice and Polished, but Comfortable. Brunson is a nice event, but our goal for the evening is fun so your attire should match that (and this is Columbus, so cowboy boots are ALWAYS welcome!!)
