What does the Live Oak Art Center do?
We provide free after school art classes to local children, support local artists through exhibitions and artist receptions, and place an overall focus on our the arts and culture of Columbus, asking ourselves at every step, "how can we better serve our community?"
Why does supporting arts and culture matter?
Even though you might think you don't care about the arts and culture of your town or in general, you do--you just don't realize it!! The arts and culture of a place is what gives it life and community, making it a great place to live. A desire for beauty is innate to humanity

Annual Brunson Night Fundraiser
Brunson Night, named after our building and the man who built it, is the Live Oak Art Center's Big Annual Fundraiser. We have lots of opportunities to support us throughout the year, but Brunson Night is the biggest.
